Here are the information sheets on the H1N1 vaccine(s)
If you are 49 years old or over, have underlying medical conditions, etc you will recieve the shot ---> http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/downloads/vis-inact-h1n1.pdf
If you are under 49 years of age and in good health you will likely recieve the intranasal spray ---> http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/downloads/vis-laiv-h1n1.pdf
your doc will help decide which is appropriate.
I recieved the Swine Flu Nasal Spray...and I am alive and kicking :-) The shot had no side effects different than the seasonal flu nasal spray/vaccine. I work in the hospital as a student of nursing, and watched numerous other healthcare providers recieve the vaccination without complication. Will not hesitate to get it for my daughter when it becomes available to the general public. Still your call though...good luck!
Hi there, sorry to hear you are so worried, I've been crazy worried myself. If you go on Youtube and type in dangers of H1N1 vaccine you will have first hand info on the truth about the vaccine. Myself, I refuse to give it to my family! I try to stay away from large crowds and places where a lot of kids congregate and carry a lot of sanitizer. Supplement with vitamin D, C and Probiotics! That's how I'm preventing the flu.
