"Copy Meal" Problems

When I copy a meal from a previous date to the present date, some of the "copied" foods show only 0 for all stats.  Can you please tell me how to fix this?

Thank you!

Hi Rosalyn -

Currently, there isn't, but have you sent feedback for the new tracker yet? At the top of the tracker page, when you are using the new tracker, you can click on a link to leave feedback. This will send your feedback directly to our developers.

And you aren't boring lol - many people eat the same thing daily. :)

Thanks for letting me know that the new tracker does not have the copy meal feature. This is unfortunate as I use this feature daily. With the new tracker will there be any way to reuse a common meal without having to type it in every time? For example, I eat the same breakfast everyday, boring I know but I do, and therefore I would want an easy way to enter it each day.

Thanks!

Hi there -

I'm sorry, we have been focusing on building our new trackers. Unfortunately, at this time, "copy meal" isn't a feature of the new Food Tracker, but we are adding new features in the future, and that may be one of them.

We will soon be fully transitioning to the new trackers, so if you haven't tried the new Food Tracker, please do! It has a new, refreshed look, and is really easy to use. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Emily,

I was just wondering about the status of this problem.  Since I copy meals quite a bit, it is getting pretty frustrating.  I've been using MedHelp for 3 years now, and I really don't want to switch to another service, if I don't have to.

Thank you!

Okay, I guess I need to quit eating 1/2 servings!  ;)

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you when it is fixed.  Have a great day.

Hi there -

Thanks for bumping this up, and we apologize for the delay in response to you. We have figured out that the issue is that when it's copying meals, it's dropping the decimal point (serving size 3.5 oz becomes 3 oz, for example). In your snack of popcorn, because you have .5 oz of popcorn, and it drops the .5, it's reading it as if you didn't have any.

Our engineers are looking into this, and we hope to have a fix soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Emily

Hi!  Thanks for your prompt response.  To provide you with some examples, I "copied" 3 snacks to today's (July 3) list:  Snack at 2pm was from June 28, 2014; Snack at 6pm was from yesterday (July 2, 2014); Snack at 7pm was from May 31, 2014.  As you can tell, some of the items are zeroes and others are not, even within the same "snack".

Sincerely,
Roslyn

Hi there,
So sorry that you are having this issue.  Can you tell us what days/meals you are seeing this issue with, and what meal/date you are copying from?

Thank you!
