The only way I can see of editing is like this, go back and do it all again?
No edit button, Ed. I wish.
There's no edit function on the forums here. You can post again in the thread to add or change information.
Can it be added as a feature? Its a bit late if you post a mistake to make you look like a complete idiot.
It may be something we have in the future, but our software doesn't allow that at this time.
On the other hand, after visiting forums for just a few days, we all become fluent in chat typo.
well I guess I need to put my confused hat on. Fluent in chat typo = edit (how?)
It doesn't = it. It just means that most people will be able to figure out what you mean lol.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. If a person inquires about heart disease, and they give a very long post, it can be easy to miss certain elements. You could end up giving false information or very bad advice. I'm not referring here to things like spelling mistakes. If a reply is given which is wrong, and this is realised after it has been submitted, then a second reply can be added. However, the OP is going to read the first reply, be devastated or scared, before reading the second post which says everything is fine after all. I just think an edit function would be very useful. Even a delete function if you want to remove it.
In a case like that, where you realize that you've unintentionally misled someone, you can contact us and we can review and delete the post. Seems to be a rare situation around here, but it occasionally happens.
hi
Id sack the creator !!!
Its crazy you cant edit your comment!
In fact I really dont believe you cant
Maybe its just a 'switch' not set in the program ??
very off putting
Id use a different blog editor if editing isnt included
What about a Delete function
-that would be better than nothing
Hi there -
It's by design, not an error, that members can't edit or delete. We hope to add an edit feature at some point, though we aren't yet sure if or when that will happen.
I did delete your test post for you.

It would seem to be a priory to have the website include an edit or delete option for the users. At the very least there should be a notice upon joining or with each posting. The humor in your response is not amusing to those of us not feeling well & during difficult times have an option to change or delete a post. Thanks
It seems as if this is not a 'Priory' on this website. There are a number of other sites that I would recommend with complete confidence. If anyone is a social media user I would not hesitate to warn people before joining. :)
Hello, StrandsofTime,
Our Terms of Use, which all members agree to when registering, forbid the posting of any personally-identifying information. Medical conditions are, by their nature, personal, and we take our members' privacy very seriously. We've put a number of measures in place to make sure that our members feel safe when they post.
We also take the usefulness of the information posted here seriously. Permitting changes to the details of a post, especially after responses have been posted, has the potential to render those responses meaningless or, at the very least, less useful.
We're always willing to work with members to make sure that the information posted is both useful and safe. We also understand that mistakes happen when posting, and are open to working with members to resolve them. Please feel free to PM any of the mods, or send an email using the "Contact Us" link below if you have a concern about any of your posts.
