Improving searches

You know how when you are on some store sites, you can search for something in a specific area?  For example, you might put in Piano Guys and select music as to where you want the search to hone in on.  It would be nice if Medhelp had where you could search and then put a category in as to where you wanted to search- for example doing a search for tachycardia in the category of the dysautonomia forum.  What do you think?

I wasn't noticing that left hand side lower down magnifying glass icon was there- there where I could search the community!  I had used the search feature on the upper right where it says search Medhelp!  Thanks for the tip!  

It looks like just the word sweat came up with a lot:

Hi -

Have you tried searching in the forum itself? Each community has a search bar in the community that will give you results ONLY from that community.

A tip - when you type in the search phrase, use the enter key on your keyboard to search, not the "go" button, as that isn't currently working.

Click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the pic at the top of the forum list. I got these results when searching for "lack of sweating" - http://www.medhelp.org/forums/search/266?utf8=%26%23x2713%3B&query=lack+of+sweating

Here's an actual example of where I was looking for lack of sweating related to dysautonomia where I got all forums with lack of sweating in the result (I posted one link that wasn't from the dysautonomia section as well):

In the meantime, you might want to try using the search box in the Dysautonomia forum itself, entering the term "Tachycardia".  

You can also use the main search box at the top of any page and enter your search term as well as the forum name (e.g., "Tachycardia Dysautonomia"). This has the added benefit of locating posts that mention Tachycardia and Dysautonomia in other forums:
