Indicate new responses in post title?

When a post is at the top of the list, that remains at the top of the list, there is no way to tell whether or not there are any new replies.

Other web sites indicate this by providing time stamp and by putting the title in bold if it is new since the last time one has read the thread. This would be a nice addition.

Agree. That's why the title is ONLY bold when there's a new reply, and it's grayed out when there is no response since one's own last viewing. Much nicer.  Time stamp  doesn't let you know if you've already viewed latest response.

It seems like other web sites use a software platform that has a more userfriendly structure for posting/viewing threads. There may be reasons in a medical-type forum that necessitates some inflexibility that I don't appreciate or it could be they get a lot more trafffic.

Another quick example is having to type in the name of the addressee, whereas it is normally done by simplying clicking on the name of that individual.

Thanks for the suggestion. All new replies to a post include a timestamp. Typically they say "2 min", "3 hours", or "Jan 07".

Thanks,

There is a time stamp on every post.

Bold titles would be rather disturbing. The titles are huge the way it is.

Just my two cents.
