Thanks for all the suggestions. We'll implement your requests to add some external factors that could affect mood and the additional symptoms soon.
We're looking into ways to include dosage with the treatments. This is a requested feature for a number of trackers.
As for making tracker journals separate from the main journals, we're not sure if we'll do this. Your profile page should be an entire picture of you, so we want to allow people to have all their journals in one place. If you want to journal about your mood tracker, maybe you could set the privacy setting for your mood journals to Friends only. That way, when members (who aren't your friends) go to your profile page, they won't see the mood journals.
We've also discussed having a privacy setting for people who are logged into the site. Our current point of view is that MedHelp is an open community and that people who are logged in or not logged in should be able to benefit from the information and experiences shared by our members. Since the members are anonymous, sharing information with the general public hasn't been an issue. What kinds of information in your profile did you want to prevent non-registered members from viewing?
I am setting my mood journals for my friends only. Just sometimes I like to put more informative things (meant for everyone) on my journals and those get pushed down by the more personal things.
The things I'd like limited to logged in members are some of my photos. I like to upload samples of my art, but I also have some of the same artwork on other websites that are a bit less anonymous… I don’t mind sharing my art with most members but I just want to limit it from guests from being able to view…
Right now as I have it, the artwork except my avatar are set to friends only.
Looking at several photos people upload of themselves, family, etc, I think as a personal opinion, those images would be better off not viewable by guests, but that's just my personal opinion...
