Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Forum

Are there any plans in the works for a physical therapy forum?  As a veteran of numerous orthopedic surgeries and rehab, I would love to see some kind of expert or even patient-to-patient forum on rehab issues.  Surgery is only one step in recovering from an orthopedic injury.  The rest of the "cure" is up to the patient's willingness to endure the pain of rehab which is often overlooked by the surgeons themselves.  Many of the forums here at Med Help deal with pain and orthopedic issues, and I think a separate board for recovery would be a great bonus.  Thanks for reading.  :-)

I've found you can chart your physical therapy as an event in the pain tracker.  That may be helpful for you as a sidenote to this thread.

Hi,

We are always trying to recruit new doctors and experts, which includes physical therapists (we are also actively seeking a Sports Medicine doctor which is sort of related) . To date, we haven't found any interested in helping out, but this is something we will continue to look for.

ME!
:o)

I asked about physical therapy in one of the heart forums and got no response. Not that I blame them. Some very ill people there.

It would be nice if I could get advice and feedback on the matter. I think it's a great idea. I need to figure out how to get back on my feet without hurting myself.
