Thank you AnnieBrooke and Thank you Steph!
Thank you for your response Barb! Exactly, I think that the green check should NOT come up unless you click on it. Because all other social networking sites require you to click a box, then after you click the box a green check appears, and then after you check the box and see the green check you would normally have another verification box to check; perhaps something that comes up and says "are you sure you want tou give this person best answer", and you click either "yes" or "no" or something.
Thanks :) and this certainly helps my message get accross, especially since I was upset at the time :/

You have to be careful with the best answer feature on threads that you post. If your mouse hovers over a response by someone else, the green check mark goes into the box. Sometimes if you hover your mouse back over your own post, the check mark goes away, if you haven't clicked on the box, but I've actually had to close the thread to make the unwanted check mark go away. Once you click on it, there doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it.
Not sure I explained it well, but that's the experience I've had. Would be nice if there simply wasn't a check mark until you click in the box. Some threads don't require a "best answer".
Hello,
I will certainly pass your input along.
Thanks,
Steph
That must explain why some of my lamer answers get awarded best answer. I didn't think it was their content. :)
