Pins and needles

I have been suffering from pins and needles sensations throughout my body for the last couple of months, and I have no idea what is causing it. Some tests that I have run are my B12 levels (normal) std panel (normal so far) and my thyroid. The only issue with my thyroid was that the level was off the very first time I tested it but then went back to normal the second time. Anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?

Also, some people say having your thyroid off can cause pins and needles. It didn't affect me . But, it may be different for everyone. Can't hurt to get it checked if you think it is off.

Well I don’t know if my thyroid levels are actually off. Cause the first time I tested them was in the morning it was off then I retested another afternoon and they were within range

It depends on what you have been doing. Have you taken any Vitamin B6? If so if you take more than 200 mg a day you can get nerve damage. Pin and needles would be an early sign too much B6. Also, some medications can cause this. Are you on any prescription medications?  If so I would check the side effects to see if these are part of the side effects. Do you have any spinal issues? Do you get it only when you stand up or in the hands and feet. It is usually related to a nerve issue. It can be temporary like crossing your legs for too long or taking B6 and then stopping it. If there is nerve damage sometimes that can go away. Sometimes not. If you haven't see a doctor I would talk to your family practice and if they don't give you a good answer see a neurologist.

I have not taken any B6 and am not on any medication causing this. The only thing that I know is that I have been very stressed because of it. I have seen a doctor but they keep telling me it’s anxiety, but I feel it’s the symptoms causing my anxiety.
