i have been recently diagnosed with genital herpes after doing some random blood test my result was 1.2iGg. at the time i was tested for herpes i was a virgin. is this possible? since i have not presented with any signs or symptoms of outbreaks. what should be my next step.

HHSV2 was positive? as a virgin?  I would retake test for a possible false positive.

no was random blood test i did HIV, VDRL, hepatitis and herpesII to start a new relationship with boyfriend. At that time i took the test i was a virgin, and no i did not have any signs and symptoms of genital herpes. all my other test results were normal but tested positive for genital herpes. herpesII 1.2

Were you found to have a positive HHSV1 or HHSV2 result?   HHSV1 is so common that 80% of the popluation has it.  It shows up as oral lesions on lips, or not at all.  Did you have lesions on your sexual organ?  Is that why you were tested?
