Ativan effecting HPTs?

I have been taking 1mg of ativan as needed and before bedtime for almost 8 months.  I am currently TTC my second child. I really don't know how to begin. I feel pregnant! But with no proof. I keep taking HPT and they come back negative. I seen my OB a few weeks ago and she said i had a huge mature follicle in my left ovary so i should have ovulated that week. she actually wisked me out the door to get to my DH. That appt. was on September 24th. So this week AF was due and didn't come yet. Due the 15th and never came so far that is.

SO I guess i am just wondering if maybe the ativan is causing my HPT to be negative this week. Could this happen? and what should I do? Maybe just wait another week or two to see if AF shows her ugly face?

Yes a home pregnancy test. I was wondering if the ativan will delay or obscure a possitive result?

I would wean yourself off of Ativan before getting pregnant. I do not know what you mean by HPT. I presume you mean a home pregnancy test. To be sure that you are not pregnant, you can have your doctor check a blood pregnancy test called a beta HCG.
