I went to my doctor for follow-up on blood tests and abdominal ultrasound results. Everything appeared normal except for a small gallstone. My question is, "Should I be concerned about my blood Creatinine levels of 1.2?" The lab reference shows normal range to be between 0.6 and 1.3, which puts me in the upper normal range. Does this mean I am progressing to renal failure issues? My BUN was in the average normal numbers of 16 and GFR was over 60. I am taking medication rantidine for GERD, which I found out can cause Creatinine elevations; I also do intense pull-up exercises at least twice a week, and I have also come across that anaerobic exercises may increase Creatinine levels. Is this true?
Also the ultrasound report says my spleen is 12.1 cm, and that it is in the upper limits of normal. Should I be concerned about this, since it is also borderline of being over the size limit? I have come across sources that say with an ultrasound the upper size limit is 13 cm, not 12 cm.
My doctor did not seem concerned at all of any results.
