RF ablation

My daughter has been diagnosed with POTS. She is now 18.  Her symptoms have developed gradually over the last few years. It is difficult to determine when exactly they began.   When she was 14, she had an RF ablation for WPW.  I have stumbled across an article in the Journal of Electrocardiology - "Delayed injury of autonomic nerve induced by radiofrequency ablation".  She has been seen by quite a few experts and none have ever discussed the possibility of her autonomic problems being caused by damage during the RF procedure.  Do you think that is possible?  How would they test to find out?  What could be done?   I would appreciate your time.  Thank You.  rbird

I  am not aware of POTS being associated with an RF ablation.  If the vagus nerve were in some way damaged during the ablation it could cause an increase in the heart rate but this would not cause POTS to my knowledge.
