Some advice on Ibs

Hi at Christmas time the doctors dignosed me with Ibs. But they didn't give me much information about it.

Iv read lots online. I know that my triggers are garlic and onion. But i sometimes slip up and have garlic with out realising. Even the tiniest bit sets me off. My symptoms are trapped wind, constipation for a couple of day and if it's really bad sickness. I use permermint tea to help settle my wind and stomach, and it always flares up at nighttime which stops me from sleeping mode of the night.

Has anyone got any remidies or advice for my to try out. I would be very great full

Hi Jemma. So sorry to read about your suffering.

Lemon, ginger and honey tea is something you may want to try.
Fresh is always better. Let the sliced fresh ginger steep in hot water,
add some honey and lemon to your liking and voila!

I have witnessed vast improvement in many IBS patients who follow the SCD program. It's a little tough at first, but once people experience
improvement, this serves as an encouragement to stick with the program.
Just do a search online and if you have any questions, pls do not hesitate to post again or message me directly.
Best wishes,
Niko
