Can't evacuate properly

Hello. I'm a 20 year old female. It's been like two weeks and I can't evacuate properly. I don't feel bloated and I still get hungry. The first days I couldn't evacuate at all, I tried activia and drinking water and eating more fruits. with that I evacuated small and thin stools. And I strain to pass them. I can pass gas just fine. Theres no blood in the stools. The only pain/discomfort I feel is in the lower back. It's not a sharp pain, it's more like a discomfort. but currently I'm on my period and I don't know if it's because of that because I'm already in my 4th day...
I'm pretty terrified because I don't know what this could be.
I'm scared that I may have fecal impaction or colon cancer. is it possible? Or it's just stress or IBS symptoms?

Have you seen a GI Doctor and had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done?  I am not a big believer in these two procedures (I have had about 4 of each over the past 4 years), but the docs always want to start with this.  It could be a blockage in your intestine - I again had similar issues after my gallbladder removal and they found that I had "ileus" which was a kink in my intestinal tract.  Most recently, I had surgery to fix internal rectal prolapse - my symptoms were abdominal pain that was significantly worsened whenever I ate and I had severe constipation.

I truly sympathize with you and hope you get some help soon!

It sounds like you are just battling a short-term case of constipation.  I would recommend that you try increasing your fiber intake.  It doesn't sound like you have fecal impaction or IBS, and I am almost 100% positive that you don't have colon cancer.
