Fulness and swelling

Hello,
I have been to 4 GI doctors and the Heart Speacialst and my Gyn. No body seems to know  for certain what I have. I have a problem with eating. As soon as I start eating about 5 minutes I feel full and have hardly eaten a 1/4 of a cup of food.I have had a colonoscopy came out normal and no signs of IBS But they say that is what this is. I have had an endoscopy, duodenal biopsy, gastric biopsy, defrogram MRI, Cat Scan, ulta sounds , laporoscopy. All of these test have been run. The only things found were small hitalhernia, irritated lining of the stomach, tiny spot on my liver and severe endometriosus. I was informed that I would need to have a hysterectomy and that was done. Don't think it is the solution to my problem. Here are all my symptoms. Feeling full very quickly within a few minutes of eating. My lower abdomen will blow up to about 9 months pregnant. and it takes it awhile to go back down. It doesn't matter what I eat or drink. No gas , no pain or cramps , no loose stools, and no severe constipation. Some days are better than others. But it makes me very fatigued and weak not to mention I am not losing weight. Might even be gaining very slowly. Please help if you can I have been going through this for a year. Also I had a Gastric emptying study showed everything normal. Is there a test that can watch what happrns inside as soon as you start eating? What do you think this could be?
                                                                                                     Thank you,
                                                                                                             Zoenator

The first comment might be right.  I've had some very miserable gastritis before.  I didn't get the extreme belly swelling, like you're talking about.  I did get some, though.  Since I have GERD my symptoms of GERD were really acting up as well.  I did the basic food elimination diet and tested different things to see if various foods bothered either my GERD or my IBS.  It turns out that my list of food sensitivities is longer than my arm.  It turns out that I'll have to remain on the elimination diet indefinitely and learn to love bland food.  Well, one does what one has to.  I don't have nearly as many symptoms as I had before, and I definitely don't get the belly swelling anymore.

Do keep looking for answers and do talk to your doctor as was already mentioned about the possibility of your stomach lining being irritated.

Do try not to worry, though.  Stress/anxiety make digestive problems worse.  I speak from experience.

Seems as though the only consideration to be looked into further is the fast that you stomach lining is irritated. Make sure all the test have been done to rule out anything that can be causeing the swelling there. If you are loosing weight ..it is possible it is because you are eating small portions. I would try to eat normal meals as to gain weight..since there are no other complications other than stomach swelling. You may also be experience anxiety/worry..over this health issue. My sugestion is to talk to you doctor about this as well.

Best to you
