Muscus in stool

I noticed a couple of times some muscus covering my Stool. Now the muscus itself was white of course but not heavy kinda mild and no blood or anything with it. It has happened a couple usually after straining to poop. I was wondering if this could be a side affect of IBS. I'm 25 and a Male. I don't have any other symptoms and I've been checked for STDs and everything just wondering what this could be? Btw I talked with my Doctor a year ago about being constipated and he checked by thyroid and didn't find any issues with it. I also had a CBC and WBC in 2012 along with a HIV test which was Negative. I haven't had sex in 3 years. So idk what it could be.

I have this as well and am 21 but female and sometimes depending upon how much bile is needed to digest the food there will be extra mucus and also IBS can make stools look different. As long as there is no blood or pain it is most likely just diet and IBS.
