meds for IBS

Hi,
Currently I take Buscopan when my IBS flares up.I would like to take some form of IBS treatment daily,just to prevent it from starting.
Can anyone suggest a treatment which would help.
I used to take Relaxyl,but it is no longer sold in the UK.

Hello,Just an update..I find if I have 1 small bowl movement a day,by the weekend I sometimes have frequent bowl movements(6 today) or diarrhoea .Is this normal?.
I posted a question about taking meds to control my IBS,would taking 1 Buscopan or 1 Colofac a week help to control IBS???

how good is Colofac,and also,my diet consists of roat chicken daily,could eating this amount of chicken cause IBS issues
