Hand and Leg tremors

I am in ESRD with a GFR 9. For the pat 2 months my hands and legs begin to shake. I spoke to my doctor about this ,and he said it had nothing to do with my kidneys. What could possible cause these tremors? Thank you

Thank you for your answer. I had the same idea. My Thyroid test always came back very high in the 170 range, but the 3 weeks ago it was normal. I am not on any meds for thyroid problems. Why would there be such a big shift in testing numbers?
Can't make any sense of it. Have you had the same problem?
Thanks again. Rose
