My transplanted Kidney hurts when I touch it

In the last 3 months I have been admitted to hospital becuase of high fever and chills.  My creatine level is 160.  this time there was blood in my urine.  This is the first time it hurts to press on my transplanted kidney.  What could be wrong?

Hi I was wondering how u were doing I am a transplant patient my self I had my kidney for 12 yrs already look u don't need to b scared I used to wake up every morning thinking I felt weird n maybe it was cause I was loosing my kidney to b honest with u at the end all we have to do is very possitive n enjoy ur second life we are so fortunate to have :) and wen ever u have fever go to the doctor asap! U can b getting a urine infection that's normal for us transplant patience however when ur kidney hurts that's because ur over working it n ur not going to the doctor as soon as u get fever! U need to do that if u have an infection ur making ur kidney work harder along with ur fever! Don't ignore what ur kidney is trying to tell u as soon as u have fever go n get it fixed! I hope ur doing perfect !

How are you? How long has it been since your kidney transplant? Do you still take medications to prevent kidney rejection? One of your greatest concerns as a transplant recipient will be that your body's immune system will reject and attack the transplanted kidney. If not reversed, rejection will destroy the transplanted organ. Aside from rejection,  complications of  transplantation include infection, relapse, high cholesterol level, liver disease, and weakening of the bones. Fever is a sign of infection that needs to be treated. It would be good to discuss these symptoms with your transplant team for proper evaluation and to monitor for signs of rejection.
