Hi,

I don't know if you have gone to the doctor. But if you haven't, please do. Check to see if you have too much acid in your system. I had this problem and the doctor told me that is what my problem was. It was strange how it happened. I was embarrassed to ask and it turned out, I didn't have to ask. The doctor walked in and said "you have too much acid in your stomach. You are not digesting your food properly". I said "oh, is that why I keep
having this body odor?". And he said, yep that's why. And he was right. It went away.

So try to relax and go to the doctor. Remember, you are not alone and you can be cured.

I am going through the same thing! I thought it was a fungi until I read this. I quit my job and felt like I couldn't go anywhere. Exactly what I went through, people holding the finger under the nose, coughing. I bought so many deodorants. For Christmas I received 5 body washes. Thanks again for the post.

I take an acid reducer everyday. Right now, I take an "herbal" remedy about twice a day which really does the trick. But when I was taking Prilosec, I took it once a day.

Hi,

Sorry, I thought I responded to you. If I did, I didn't do it correctly because I don't see my response. Nevertheless, it seemed as though all of my skin smelled. I did not smell worse after bathing but I could still smell it. I smelled worse when I got nervous.

I hope I am not mistaking you for someone else, but I thought I read that you were having great results. I do hope so and I am so happy for you. This is my prayer that I could help someone. I don't want anyone to suffer as I did.

Take care!

I guess you could say heat. My skin smelled even when I just came out of the shower and got worse as the day went by. Wearing cologne was horrible. It only made matters worse.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

The doctor originally prescribed Nexium but when my insurance changed, I was given Prilosec. I think I noticed a change within the 1st week. I took it for 2 weeks, then stopped and the odor didn't return for a long time. When it did, the doctor suggested that I continue to take the Prilosec. I did and so far things are going great!

Of course I am not sure this is your answer, but it is somewhere to start. I just wanted to make sure that you get examined. The body is funny and many things can cause the same symptoms.

Now I am not a doctor but I also want to encourage you to drink lots of water and eat cherries. I say this because I know 3 people who drank sodas all the time but rarely drank water. I don't know if you basically drink sodas, but if you do, please be careful. When they got older, they developed gout. I was told that gout comes from the kidneys not functioning well. Sodas and many juices have a lot of sodium in them which I believe can be harmful to the kidneys if they are not being flushed properly. So make sure you drink water. I suggested eating cherries because they are believe to help people with gout. So I believe that they make help keep the kidneys functioning well.

Take care of your body early and it will take care of you as you age.

Be encouraged!
