Please read, I need your advice.

I was taking 21 day tablet anticontraceptive pills until last December because of the secondary effects. The first month after this I had a 30 day cycle, then 31 dc and 25 dc, and I'm currently on the 39th day, still waiting for my next period. I had unprotected sex near my ovulation day, but he didn't finish inside, and I know that precum can also get me pregnant, but I've been under a lot of stress these past two weeks and I don't know if I'm having a late period because of that. I haven't done any pregnancy test, because I'm scared of the results. Also, these past three days I've been feeling cramps and I hoped I was gonna get my period, but nothing has happened!
Is it normal to have late periods after stop taking birth control pills? Should I wait a little more to make sure I get an accurate result from the pregnancy test? Or to see if I finally get my period?
I don't want to be pregnant!!!! I don't know what I will do if I am :(
