Abonormal blood work

My last bloodwork, my WBC was 10.9. ANC, or Neur ABS, was 6.53, & my TSH was 8.91. My anion gap was only 4. I asked my doctor to take another blood test, & he said they didnt check it, cas i had a cup of coffee? I know he checked it but wont tell me? His nurse said my prostate bloodwork was normal, & 20 miniutes before i had my urolist say my enlarged prostate was getting worse!(different hospital) So other question is would my bloodwork for enlarge prostate come back normal, even if i was still holding back 25 percent pee? My father had leukemia also. I dont know what is going on, since my brain bleed. If i was well, & didnt own this apt. house, & felt better, i would move out of state, & get another health care. I have cardiac disease, thyroid(low) enlarge prostate,& caught epiglititis a few years ago which was so bad they put me in ICU. Could not swallow anymore, even water, it would come up my nose! Doctor never saw it so bad. I lasted 29 days, with oxygin, & pain patch that didnt help my throat. Anyway, i am very concerned about the high blood counts, & what they mean? thank u!

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for trying to help me, & especially for the nice compliment you left me from , i think it was Sara? about her problem with swallowing, & the slim gym incident. Obviously i am so confused now, with everything that ive been through!. I think some of my lately problems have to do with ABI, & TBI, when i experienced carbon monoxide poisoning, & my heart attack. Finally after 3 months i got a stent, & that doctor had told me i had 99 percent blockage. Took over a year to start to feel somewhat better(normal) but then a few years later i caught the epiglitis. Now, my memory short term has deteriated, & i just get the run around. People, & doctors just telling me its all in my head, but i deserve to at least see my latest bloodwork, & i just get the runabouts? Im really fed up. My dad went through same symptoms, except he was told when he had luekemia, & something wrong with his spleen? I do know i have an enlarged prostate, that i take medicine for, but i am so fed up with the medical world. A few years ago, at least doctors would let me know what was going on, but all the good doctors, i ever had have now retired! I am not the type person that panics. For over 8 years, doctors were saying i ws fine, cas i was really healthy looking, buff, going to gym, working 40-70 hours a week. Even had a stress test(no contrast) so easy to pass. Well, finally after my heart attack i got a stress test with contrast, still easy to pass, but 3 days later, i got the phone call saying i actually flunked it! Someone had taken the time to read the ex-rays, or something? I dont know anymore. To begin with my IQ, was very low. I just happen to be smart, not intelligent! It has gotton so bad, i have a hard time paying my bills! Ive owned like 7-8 houses, or apt. houses, always paid my bills. No one takes me seriously anymore(doctors) I just wanted to thank you! Cant even get a new doctor. No one will see me. Before that, i had to go out of state to get health care! So, at least i have a doctor in this state, now, but he is holding back, like i mentioned my bloodwork, & so on. Again, thank u, for caring! Steve

Interpreting blood work is not my strong point and I'm not really sure about it's accuracy when holding back pee.  I wouldn't think that it would not effect the results but I don't know.  This may be a better question for the prostate cancer forum.  

It sounds like you've been through a lot.  Maybe you could change doctors if you are unhappy with the current doctor you have.  I hope you are able to find the answers you seek very soon.
