Could bruises be a symptom of developing leukemia?

25 year old female has developed a range of very large bruises to some small bruises that on that appear mostly on the thighs but also some small bruises on the breasts. They are not due to any impact or injury. They have been appearing and slowly disappearing over the past 5 months but at no point did all of them go away completely. The bruises appear spontaneously and she takes no medications. She has breast implants that she got in her home country of Ecuador which were cheap and may be something to consider. She saw a doctor who told her it could be leukemia but due to the high costs of the tests she was unable to afford them. I would like to post pictures but I don't see the option to.

Hi, you can do a websearch for--> discount lab tests

A simple CBC test is around $35, no doctor is needed. If the platelets are not low, then the easy bruising is most likely not from leukemia. Also, in leukemia the WBC would be high.

But the most likely cause is this: https://www.symptoma.com/en/info/purpura-simplex
Tell her that, if so, it is not a dangerous condition.

I'd also try taking vitamins C and K.

The implants would be a factor if they are provoking the immune system to kill platelets. In leukemia, low platelets are  because of lowered production. In autoimmunity, low platelets are from destruction.
