Dad diagnosed with cirrhosis

My dad who has had fatty liver disease for a very long time, had a fibroscan done and his liver stiffness is 23.6kpa, which according to the doctor is late stage cirrhosis, but he has absolutely no symptoms of cirrhosis, how should we proceed forward in this situation?is there any cure of cirrhosis?
