cramps with crinone

I am TTC and taking crinone gel on day 17 until I get my period.  I have noticed that I start having some mild cramps around 5 or 6 days after starting the crinone suppositories.  Has anyone else noticed this?  It seems to be working b/c I am not having mid-cycle spotting anymore and my cycles have gone from 24 days to around 32 days.

Thanks for responding, I guess it was not a good thing (the cramps) b/c I just started my period today, I will have to ask my MD about that.  Well I will hope for better results next time for both of us.

I haven't had that happen actually. I think the only weird thing that happened was from when I inserted it too far, I got some spotting and a little pain. But I don't think it would qualify as cramping. I'm not positive, though, as it was a few months ago. But good that it's working for you. Something else that helped me is maca root. I had a few months w/just progesterone supplementation (prometrium) but it didn't really help much. Then when I added maca and continued the Prometrium, my progesterone level went up to completely normal level! :-)
