Is a 1 cm x 1.2 cm leis ion cancer?

recent CT scan showed a 1 x 1.2 cm lesion with eccentric calcification in lung. They are doing a re-scan in 3 - 6 months. Could this be cancer or metastasis? Or is it more likely to be  benign?

We are very glad to hear that they are not suspecting cancer. For those reading, it is wise to follow the posters same steps and follow up with investigation if something is found on a lung ct.  However, it is not uncommon to have harmless nodules.  https://www.webmd.com/lung/benign-lung-tumors-and-nodules#1

We wish you continued good health.

Yes....there are actually 2 nodules over about this size, and what they are calling a conglomerate of smaller nodules. My latest scan showed no growth ...and no new nodules. They don't think it's cancer...and is stable. Good news!
