dark lips / cancer?

my friend via was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer tumors in april 2015. she now has darkened black lips.  can this be because of her cancer or perhaps now the cancer has spreaded to the liver or other part of the body. im worried for her. please help

Welcome to the Lyme page -- I am sorry to hear about your friend's illness.  I agree with grdner's comment above, that the Lyme page doesn't have information on this and a better source is likely the cancer community on MedHelp.

I am sorry for the condition your friend finds herself in, but I have no information on your question.  You might try posting it on one of the cancer communities as I'm sure the folks there would have more input.  Best of luck to you both.
