Wow! It could be weather related if the pain was in the joints.
Glad you had fun. Are you going to pack your bags for good?
Same thing happens to me -- if the timing is right, I can make it through extraordinary stresses like a long distance trip and do just fine. As wonko says, there is payback when I return, but not too awful for me ... however I try to avoid travelling unnecessarily.
Sometimes I think the heavy psychological burden of Lyme+ is more than I realize, and getting away from the day to day reminders provides welcome relief, tho I would be the LAST person in the world to admit that my own attitude is getting in the way.
I think it's the bugs -- they affect mood so widely and constantly that it's an inextricable part of the disease in my experience.
GOOD FOR YOU!!! Glad you had a good time -- you deserve it!
Hopefully you will continue to feel better.
I'm glad that you were able to enjoy your trip. I hope it holds up. Sometimes, I have the ability to rise to the occasion and push through a few days, but can suffer "payback" after the dust settles. So if you are still feeling well, you may want to rest and be extra kind to yourself for a bit. Hopefully that way you won't push yourself into a flare.
Again, great news that the trip went so well, and good luck with the doc.
nice to hear you had a pretty good trip - maybe a bit of herxing - nausea/chills etc;
good luck with your appt. today
