can fleas lead to these symptoms

hi every1, can any1 help me to know about lyme desease, can bed fleas lead to lyme desease whith these symptoms? i totaly confused myself to believe if all these symptoms can be cause by bed fleas. these bugs were biting me for years maybe three to four but i never had any feelings or falling sick. it now 17month im dealing with these symptoms as im fighting to know the cause of them. my 1st symptoms was itchy like  biting sensation, later becoming hair loss easy to break, hairy coated tongue which is cracking now and this year i have develope a throat and chest problem but it not a lymph nodes, just some pain and heavy breathing, dry skin and red in my hands. i thought this was part of hiv but my exposure was zero risk and in 16 months testing all results are negative. i was to a dermatolog who told me that it scabies but i got no bumps, just got chilli feelings and hair loss. she gave me a scabies treatment and it works at the beginning but now these itchy are coming back. i went to a day care hospital, the doctor told me that it a fleas deseaes, i don't have any candida's sign as my gumes looks normal. So im now trying to start a treatment but i would like to know if my problem relate to lyme desease. i use to see some small red bumps in my arms but it going away after 2days not even taking anything and now i have develope a strange dry kin.

You're quite welcome here, Mars -- if there is any help we can give you.

Lyme is a tricky bug, and it's the wide variety of symptoms that Lyme can show that confuses docs and patients both.

The Lyme ticks often carry other diseases with a different set of symptoms, and everyone's immune system reacts differently, so no wonder it's confusing for docs and patients both.

We wish you the best --

Hi mars,
This doesn't really sound like Lyme disease to me.
Have you done a lot of searches to find all the diseases that can be carried by fleas?
And can you afford to see a doctor who specialises in infectious illnesses? There are lots of really good doctors in SA and I hope you can get to see one who can help you.

None of us here is medically trained, and even a doc can't diagnose you on a website. There are, so I read, many strains of Lyme around the world, and many co-infections that can come along with Lyme to confuse the diagnostic picture. You clearly have *some* ailment, and need to see a knowledgeable doc. Have you searched smething like "south africa lyme" to see what leads you get?  My best advice is to find a knowledgeable doc to guide you. Best wishes --

S.A. meaning San Antonio TX or South America?

Lyme is a bacterial infection usually gotten from insect bites, esp ticks. The most common Lyme ticks are tiny ones, but big dog ticks can also carry diseases that often come w/ Lyme.I do not believe from what I have read that only the tiny ticks can carry Lyme, tho it is how it is often described. There is much aboyt Lyme that is not known or well understood, and about half the time or more, the ticks (and maybe mosquitoes etc) also bring other infections with their own set of symptoms that confuse docs who don't have enlightened views of Lyme.

There is a serious dispute in the medical world about Lyme, and many docs don't take Lyme seriously. It is important to consult with a Lyme specialist who takes broad view of Lyme and its companion diseases to have the best chance of an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

ILADS (dot) org is the main website for docs who understand Lyme and take it seriously. There are some pages there directed toward patients too.

Check it out and let us know if have further questions. Best wishes --

My first reaction is that whatever you are suffering from does not sound like most people with Lyme Disease.  Where are you located?
