I guess I had a tick bite please help

this weekend I was at upstate near around an old tree I was taking pictures I guess something came from there. When I went home on my leg something like American dog tick looking not too small bug was on my leg it had like 6 legs I pushed didn't go away I tried to wash it off but it was holding anyways my friend helped me we gave some pressure from the bottom we took it off no bleeding or no hole where we took it from we couldn't even find the bite .I checked some tick bites online they usually go half way to into skin but mine was totally outside I probably recognized after like an hour .Next day I checked again if something appears noting was there I just guess where it was holing me the spot I gave a pressure and a red dot appeared I don't know if it's from the bite or I just irritated the skin it's almost impossible to see it .Is it recommended to see a doctor or take antibiotics for it ? thank you
