Labs returned with concerning results.

Western Blot  through LabCorp

Bands IgM 23 and IgG 41 and 45 were "present abnormal"

CMV level at  >10.00
EBV level at 181       BOTH OF THESE LEVELS ARE OFF THE CHARTS HIGH ABOVE NORMAL RANGE

Liver enzymes High at 44 with normal range being 0-32

Can anyone tell me if IgM 23 is considered a TRUE Lyme diagnosis based on the fact that no other strain aside from Lyme can cause band IgM 23 to be positive? This has been my research findings and I'm worried that I most likely have an active Lyme infection along with 2 other coinfections being EBV and CMV.

Thank you

If I recall correctly, CMV is short for cytomegalovirus and EVB I think should be EBV, which is short for Epstein-Barr virus.  These are two infections which are not Lyme, but can be spread by the Lyme ticks.

Your doc would have tested you for these if you had symptoms for either one.

... but next time to see the doc, be sure you have told him/her your concerns.

What is EVB and CMV. I had a western blot and none of those were on my test.

Sorry I can't contribute any knowledge to this thread. :(
