For those that might have difficulty translating that into plain English, just as I did when I first had to learn medicalese:
The authors put forth a theory for the peripheral neuropathy that many of us have. The bacteria that causes Lyme can cause inflammation and nerve cell death in a spinal nerve and on to the central nervous system. It's mildest form may be just a tingling in the arms and legs. But it can get much worse, as I and many others know.
What does this all mean? Just proof, yet again, that Bb can cause a heck of a lot of problems.
