I would have to check them all and then some. Nope none of them are good are they? It would be wonderful to get a good side effect...no, wonderful!

Yes it finally stopped on a continuous basis.  It was brutal.  I get it here and there but nothing unusual at this point.

jason80,  fatigue can be just as debilitating too but I guess crying in pain may be more less tolerable than being fatigued.  Like you said,  It's all bad!

They're all bad. Even though fatigue is bad too, I guess overall it is more tolerable than being physically uncomfortable all the time.

Patsy10, Did your ringing ever stop? I have forgotten what silence sounds like. I am only into 7mos of abx's but have come along way.

Cindy903, The symptoms you described are exactly like mine. Wooziness, slight vertigo and at times a little nauseated. I find that if my head changes position fast (as if your are looking around) it brings this on even more. I have always thought that inflammation keeps us in this state.

Take Care

I really did not like my neck popping at every turn. It sounded like shattered glass. It is still weak but I changed pillows and stopped popping it on purpose and now yeah, it still does it, but it's not that big of a problem.

the fact that it is a little weak -- perceived weakness doctors would tell me -- is bothersome.

I also hate wooziness -- kind of a vertigo. Oh and I hate being forgetful. I'll have an idea and then it's gone the next day. That didn't used to happen (as often).

I hate seeing stars when I either exert myself or get up from sitting.

I hate everything to do with Lyme and I guess I will say my most annoying symptom is the one that prevails in bothering me on any given day.

BUT, I'm happy to report that the twitching is benign.

Welcome to the forum.  I can relate.  I had ringing in my ears 24/7, non-stop for over a year.

The ringing in my head, Been there for a little over a year. It was my first symptom. After that it would be the stiff neck, aching shoulders and occasional palps that seem to come and go with herxing.

I'd have to check all the boxes above, but the most debilitating was the brain fog ...

Some of the stiffness and aching might be Herxing...

I'm sorry to hear you are doing badly again.  Your post was so encouraging the other day.  I was hoping you would stay well.  Try to keep positive.  I was doing well for a while and then recently I had some awful issues as you  know.  I woke up on Sunday and it was like someone turned off the switch.  It was gone.  Now I'm back to my usual pain and stiffness.  It's all really so strange.  I'm hoping mine was from starting the doxy recently.

Wonko, getting out of car after a long car ride is brutal too!

Other:  Brain fog.

The physical discomforts and the fatigue are difficult, but it is the cognitive problems that are taking the biggest chunk out of my life.  My work is technical and very free-form.  I need to assess what needs to be done, when and how.  I do a lot of things that require math, computer programming, numerical analysis, etc.  It is brutal with Lyme brain.  I dropped to part time for now, and hope everyday to see signs of improvement so that I can get my career back on track.

Other than that, I completely 2nd what patsy10 said:

"It used to be neuro for me and it's still high up there on my  list.  I would have to say though that pain and stiffness have taken the lead."

The pain/stiffness has slipped ahead of my neuro symptoms, which are still big on the list.  The stiffness is very widespread in me, I think it is from the Bartonella.  It hurts to bend my hands.  I'm ok walking, but stairs hurt.  Sitting for long periods is very painful.  It's a very constant reminder, and I dislike it for that reason as well.

headaches! I guess that could go in the "pain" category...Or its the joint pain in my knees or the internal muscle twitching, or possibly the shooting pain my spine!!!

I was doing so well and now I am back at stage 1!!!! grrr
