Baby Aspirin and Pregnancy

So, here we all are - either pregnant or trying or just taking our regimens to help live with MTHFR.

After finding out about MTHFR and 3 consecutive losses, I had been sent to two MTHFR specialists here in Toronto and also a high risk perinatal OB/Gyn who have me on 40mg Lovenox and LD (81mg) baby aspirin along with the increased Folic Acid and Vitamin B complex

BUT - I just read that taking any form or Aspirin can be responsible for boys having problems with low sperm count along with undescended testes.

This really annoys me since I know that taking the baby aspirin is what is saving this pregnancy from ending in loss as the last three, but I also don't want to create problems for a boy potentially down the road!  Now, having said that - I am not even sure what the sex of this pregnancy is, (will know in about 3 more weeks or so hopefully) but I have strong feelings that it's a boy.... (don't ask.)

I could be worrying for nothing if it's a girl, but I don't want to feel guilty for something that I know was completely beneficial for keeping this pregnancy rather then have someone say to me later on, well - you knew the risks....

Anyone else read or heard about this?  Here is the site that I read the article: www.babyzone.com/pregnancy/article/...

Any thoughts?  I know for myself, I likely wont stop taking the LD aspirin because I am okay with the risks for low sperm count.  I would not be okay with losing another baby.

Sounds horrible but that is the exact same thought I had!  It only takes one sperm....!

Oh well, seems like there will always be something, if not trying to prevent a loss the risks for what we take cause other issues!  Can't win!

Well, I am glad it's not just me who feels this way!
