If you want to, just sign up for it, see how it goes and maybe they have online classes you can take too. Not all in class lectures. IVs actually aren't all that hard to do, they teach people really well with the robotic people in the lab.
i chkd the other college here in my town but they dont have an LVN or nursing program at all!! and the one at the school i orginally went is for an RN which im not really interested in! i dont think i can put IVs in people! I can do it all but not that! i want to do college but IDK what else im interested in! my mom thinks i should go ahead and get registered there and start the scholorship process and see what happens i am just all confused on it!
and WOW! about the waiting list! that could be here too i dont know our town is 100K people and the next town over so thats 200K people! YIKES what if there is a waiting list! the other town does have a program but stricter guidlines and yeah from my house at least 45 mins to get there so same deal!
Any nursing program is competitive. Though a lot of it depends on where you live, what school you want to go to, etc. I know that a bunch of the nursing schools near me have a waiting list to get in. It's difficult. Is there another school that is closer? I think you'd get burnt out driving back and forth for 2 hrs each day. I commute half the time and it gets old fast! I hate having to drive so much to go to school. Personally, I wouldn't go to that school.
