Anyone worried over North Korea stating they wont honer the 1953 peace accords??

Today in life, with just the everyday things that are going on, there is so much to think and worry about. Then come home eat your dinner watch the evening news and bam!!!! Right in the face you hear about a crazy little nut case in North Korea, that says they are not going to honer the 1953, peace accords. They set off a nuclear bomb test and this idiot is willing to start a war.

My big Question is we have 30 to 40 thousand trrops on the DMZ, and if they do try to invade South Korea the men and women of our country there wont stand a chance. So why don't we do something about it? This man needs to be stopped, he could very well sell a nuclear device to the Islamic nuts of the world. Plus we owe to our men and South Korea to put a stop to this idiot. Now before all of you bleeding heart liberals jump all over me think about what this nut is trying to do, start a world war, he even has Russia worried.

So I had my say lets see how much I am going to get beat up, and how many agree. So have at it...peace and love to all...brian

All of those things you listed were earmarks. Obama had asked senators to go through those earmarks and get rid of the ridiculous ones, but obviously that didn't happened. What you don't understand is that he didn't have a choice.... he had to pass that reform bill ASAP when he first took office. If the Bush administration had taken action when the economy was heading downhill (remember McCain said the economy was strong ? LOL!), then Obama wouldn't have needed to have acted so quickly.

Its a balance between an unregulated economy and one which restricts the freedom of private companies but with the fact that multiple businesses that were around on a large scale like auto dealerships are shutting down and putting the average American out of work I don't see much progress in either direction. As for government spending I would be for the complete elimination of pork barrel projects of any kind and if there are new expenditures in the government that will affect everyone perhaps people should be able to vote on them. I would agree about President Obama but I haven't seen any president do very well with reducing expenses although many gave promises. But that is another issue..
As for nuclear weapons I am sorry they were invented to begin with. I well understand that the need for war occurs from time to time but a nuclear war is not winnable. If the only countries that had nuclear weapons were the various major countries that had them in the beginning all the countries would probably agree to reduce their amount until they were eliminated but once they end up in the hands of a terrorist state then its very hard to know what to do at that point. I just hope Pakistan stays on our side. Vast areas of the country are not but the government technically is but if Al-Qaeda took over there then we would have a terrorist country armed with nuclear weapons and I would say that the North Koreans if faced with a war like all people would be afraid of death but the Taliban in warfare due to their fanaticism seem to seek it. The world is more out of control than its been in a long time. Its sad because as a young person I was an optimist and I thought the global end to communism would stop the potential of a world war but as with all young people I was naive. A shame though...
