Do you believe in "spirits, or ghosts" ?

Just read an article on this. One time when I was about 25, living alone in an apartment. I awoke ( yes I was coherent) and sensed something I looked near the bedroom door and saw what appeared to be the shape of an older man. I could see his red flannel shirt, he had a tool belt around his waist like repaimen or plumber wear, the thing is I could see right through his body, He was just looking at me, I felt no fear or anything I blinked looked again and he was gone. Arrording to the article i read a high percentage of people have had atleast one encounter in their lives, have you?

I know what u mean, but sometimes is nearly impossible with 4 kids, and a husband that's like a kid too... I'm just so frustrated because eventhough I got the greatest news... that I don't have cancer.. which was my biggest fear.... I alson learned that I got a stupid infection. I guess I'm not taking it easy as I'm supposed to after the cervical cone biopsy surgery... and because of it, my doctor put me on bed rest for a wk... she gave me some antibiotics which is great but on top of feeling useless I'm nouseous because antibiotics, my lower back is killing me... and I can't stand not moving around...I'm usually very active... like I said I have 4 kids.... I'm sorry if I sound harsh... forgive me... its just the hormones.... I've been all hormonal... I think... I cry very easy... and I feel kinda lonely....
When I got the great news about my pathalogy results that I didn't have cancer... I txed my fam and friends... they all got very very excited... and it showed... but when I told my husband.. he showed no emotion at all... didn't say anything either.... acted as if I just announced the weather or the time... he says he loves me all the time but I hate that he doesn't show emotions... he never lets me in.... I'm sorry I just had to let it out...

my family are all from a different state... and where I live I feel so alone.... he's family's here but I can't count on them for nothing....

sometimes I take a break at home, just lock yourself in your room favorite junk food, a good chick flick to watch and a nice nap,,does wonders for the soul,,,great news. I am so happy for you, waiting for test results stinks,,then you get the come in phone call cause the seldom say anthing on phone,,I am really glad you dont have to undergo surgery..

family drama never ends I think between the all of us on here we could each write a short story and put em all together for a book, kinda like chicken soup for the soul only ours would be Extra Drama for Making life too Exciting. LOL

Hi Cherie... yea that dream was really something... someone told me once that I should write my dreams because they're like movies..... Lost happends.... they're weird most of the time... and sometimes they even continue in the same night...

Defenitely no plans for new baby..... I'm so done...LOL... I had a BLT already and about the new beginning, well it hits home on that one... I have been worried about cervical cancer... and I believe we shared thoughts not too long ago about hyterectomy....

Well I'm proud to announce that I just received the most amazing news from my doctor... I DON'T HAVE CANCER!!!!! yeeeeeiiiiiihhh.. And don't have to have hysterectomy after all either..... apparently all my severe dysplasia was removed completely after my last procedure last wk.... I'm just trying to recover now... but at least I can breath again.....Thank God.... What a blessing... I feel like I just got a second chance in life and that dream on my last post was maybe my ''spirit friend'' whom I felt before, trying to tell me everything was gonna be just fine with the baby bassinett meaning new beginning... and the second part of the dream, maybe the spirit got a little frustrated with me because I couldn't understand the message and I've been stressing myself too much....


But now last night I dreamt that a whole bunch of my teeth were falling out.....
I remember dreaming it before but only with 1 or 2 or 3 teeth but not a whole buch like last night..... The other times that I dreamt this was not good news....  maybe is the family drama with my inlaws that I'm going through right now.... but thats another very long and neverending story...

I do need a break... I wish I could get away....

wow ,thats a weird dream lots could be interperted, or it kinda sounds like maybe you might be having an unexpected suprise any chance or thoughts of a new baby?

also the symbolicness of the bassinett new birth new beginnings, and your pushing it away, you dont want it,,sounds like some stress pushing into your subconsious and things r just too much lately, kinda like you need a break,,know the feeling thats why I stayed home today, maybe you need to do something nice for yourself.

Hi.. I'm going under a lot of stress right now... with health issues, family drama, and personal life issues.... and I know that stress plays a huge role in our dreams...

I have had weird movie-like dreams all my life.... most of them are horrible, but last night I had a dream that's really giving me the creeps!!!

I have a bassinet that I used on all my kids when they were babies.... and I put it away 3 yrs ago...and in my dream last night, I was alone in my bedroom and the bassinet was just sitting there, empty... when suddenly it rolled toward me... I thought nothing of it in my dream.. and I just pushed it back to where it was... then it rolled toward me again!! I felt a little scared and tryed to roll it back again to where it was but this time I couln't do it... it felt as if something or someone was pushing from the other end toward me... like a spirit.... it felt quite strong too... I freaked and immediately left the room... still dreaming of course....I ran to the living room and sat on the sofa and I happend to have my house phone in my hand... I was crying and very scared and was about to make a phone call for help....( still in my dream)... when suddently I see this 2 barstools that I keep in the kitchen counter, just there, standing before me next to some other wooden piece of furniture I didn't recognize.. and then they got knocked down in front of me... I kept crying and the little scenery repeated itself... where I see the barstools and the other piece of unknown furniture standing there like before... and getting knocked down again... The way they got knock down... was like with anger....I felt the presence of someone there with me in my dream... it made me feel very, very affraid... then I woke up...

It may sound crazy I always wake up in the middle of the night.... and for a few months now I feel like I get awaken by someone shaking my bed or bumping into it.... when I wake up I look around the room... I don't see anything but I do feel like someone is there... but I don't feel afraid and just go to back to sleep....but last night.... when I felt this presence in my dream, I felt very scared.. and can't stop thinking about it...
I feel like someone was trying to tell me something and got frustrated because I couldn't understand....

When I was in Kentucky I have heard that a man had built this castle for his wife and that they have both lived in it until they passed away. What I have heard is that no one has lived in it since.

If I go there again, I'll have to take another picture to see if it is still there or not. :)

I saw your picture, It's interesting but to me it honestly does look like it's a statue of some sort. Have you tried to investigate and find out the history on the castle?

I have uploaded a photo that I have taken of a Castle off of the highway as I was entering Lexington, KY last Summer. I believe that I have captured what looks like a spirit in the 2nd window. I can relate. I had a dream about my grandfather and when I woke up... I realized that it was his birthday. In the dream... he was inpatient... like he always was when he was alive. He was waiting for us.

My Grandma and I was really close to each other and I was devastated when she had passed away when I was only seven years old. Then the one day I had a very realistic dream in where my Grandma came to me. She was speaking to me and honestly told me that she was alright and that she would see me again. I never felt sooo happy in my dreams. It was as if a could sense a great presence around me. She told me that she had to go and before she left I was able to tell her that I love her and that I wouldn't ever forget her.

I still remember that dream to this day and I honestly believe that she did come into my dream to reassure me during those hard times. :)

I dont think this story is a coincidence, to much detail to be such, I  believe mothers and daughters share a really close psycic bond. Heres a true and odd story.

My mom was estranged from her mother at age 35 long story...

anyways I was about 12 at the time,,it had been 2 years since Grandma was outta the picture..i came to the breakfast table and said "hey mom, I had a dream last night that Grandma called, in my dream I picked up the phone and she said "Cherie this is Grandma can I talk to you Mom."  

My moms face turned totally white she immediatley sat down she was near fainting. She told me that the prior night she had a dream.....in her dream the phone had rang..I had answered and handed her the phone and it was her mother.....where my dream ended hers began..weird huh....we had not even talked about Grandma for months so it wasnt as if she had been a topic of conversation the day before or anything..

Heres a weird tale not really about ghosts but just strange coincidence or ESP... I went into hospital to have my first child induced, I didnt know the gender of the Baby, before I gave birth.About 2 hours previously  my Mom had gone around to her neighbour early on that morning and told her, " I havent heard from Margy yet ,but I had the strangest dream I hope the Baby is okay, she went on to tell the neighbour that the Baby was a girl but had been born with something wrong with her and had been bleeding from her head, the neighbour was concerned and they rang the hospital ,she was told that I had had a Baby girl and that all the nurses were admiring the childs beautiful bright red hair!! To this day my daughter has very red hair. My Mom was very perseptive and I take after her,scarily so at times...

My friend's brother had passed a couple of a years ago. Since his passing, she had many strange things happen in her home. For instance, her television would turn on and off by itself. Her doorbell would ring and when she would answer the door, nobody would be there. Once she had a telephone message left on her voice mail and it was mostly static, but it was quite obvious that someone was trying to communicate with her. She noticed that there just happened to be no number listed on her caller ID, which was another bizarre thing.

Anyhow... one night I called her and was surprised that a MAN had answered the phone (she had recently divorced and lived alone). After the man said, "hello?" -- I asked if she was there and there was no answer. I immediately looked at the number I had dialed and I confirmed that I did dial the right number. I couldn't get anymore responses from the person who answered, so I hung up the phone. A few minutes later, I called my friend again and got her VM. I left a msg and told her to give me a call. About an hour later, my friend had returned home and had called me. I told her about what had happened earlier in the evening when I tried to call her. She asked me if there was anything unusual about the man's voice, etc. and I just told her that he immediately answered the phone... as if he was in a hurry. I'll never forget what she said to me after that... she said, "I think you talked to my brother !"  She told me that she used to tease her brother because he always rushed to pick up the phone. And she said that she was very upset and missing her brother that evening. She had returned from her cousin's house, where she was watching videos of them together.... she thought that she was going to be strong enough to handle it, but she wasn't and watching those videos made her very sad.

I am a professional psychic..or pyscho...depending on my mood....LOL....Seriously though, I am an empath and I gotta tell you..there are days I just want to run for the hills and say, Hey guys! I need a day off!
  I drove past a cemetary tonight, in an area I have never been to before...and I just wanted to stop the car....get off the road, walk over and say, HEY! I am going home.. I am tired..do you think you guys can kind of settle down for a bit?
   I think there is nothing scary in it. We are really like an antennae for a television. Given the right frequency, you can pick up Russia..or Great Aunt Flo!
   I have a ton of information on the whole ghost/spirit/dead people thing. I am more than happy to chat to anyone who has any issues on that. I won't do any readings over the net though (so don't ask me if your new boyfriend will marry you, I will only do that in person)...but I will help you learn why and how things happen to us, and how not to be afraid of it.

actually it didn't break. that's what surprised me the most. i was upset thinking greg had to throw it away. he said nope it didn't even chip. which of all the things on that ledge WHY my crystal heart? blah.

i always thought i was nuts to for believing. well my mom and i always thought we were nuts. especially when people would tell us that we're just 'imagining' everything.

i wonder what it would be like to be a ghost. i mean do they remember their lives? loved ones? how they died? when? where? do they still have a favorite place? or do they go to where they died? or to where loved ones are?

heck yeah thats creepy,,now I have had battery operated toys go off as the batteries was dying but you say a button had to be pushed and it sound almost like your wtf and doubts pissed offf whatever was there and deliberatley broken something precious to you,,,,very odd n creepy.

Man, I remember 1st posting this and thinking everyone would think I was a nut...now I am about convinced that the MAJORITY has had some sort of a visit or vision///gotta be more than we know in this world a whole different realm...proves life after death...sure hope I dont get stuck..want to see Jesus when I go.

we actually had something happen last night!!!! it was probably 2-3 am and dh and i couldn't sleep so we were laying in bed talking. venus (our kitty) was laying between us getting some lovins (she loves having her cheeks rubbed so i was rubbing one side of her head he was rubbing the other). when all of a sudden one of the boys toys went off. (one of those toys you have to push to get it to play music) we're laying there and we're like...wtf. so we just lay there and it goes off AGAIN!!!! so i'm getting freaked out but dh says oh it must be a malfunction. ok...maybe. THAN we hear something fall onto the kitchen floor!!! so he gets up and goes to look (now everybody is in bed. the boys are too little to get out of their cribs and our ONLY cat is in bed with us) when he comes back upstairs he said it was my heart (he bought me a crystal heart for our anniversary last year that has my favorite  biblical quote, our name and date we started dating on it). he said it was laying on the kitchen floor. NOW in order for the heart to fall on to the kitchen floor it has to fall off of the ledge onto the counter and THAN onto the floor.

Interesting post here...I have totally experienced many crepppy things. When we moved into our second home, (live their now) we had terrible problems. I never really believed in things like that. We bought our home and the week we moved the teenage son that lived there died in an accident. I am not sure if the activity was related to his death but we had computers, lights turning on and off, noises, footsteps and loud dragging noises in our hallway upstairs. I once had my face touched when I was trying to go to sleeep I believe there were multiple things going on and I had a prayer vigil in my home to get whatever was here out and it worked, that was several years ago. I still live here and still get uneasy from the memories I have. These experiences only raised more questions for me on religous concepts, the afterlife and good and evil. It was not a pleasant time to say the least.

about 11:11 or 1:11 I did a search on them and it seems to have significance.Many feek it means angels or adivine presence...what I read states it their way of communicating and making one aware of their presence.

I don't pay much attention but today I happened to look at the microwave clock at 11:11a.m. and later at 1:11p.m.  

It is interesting to learn from others who know about numerology, etc.  I never studied it.

I've been lately catching the numbers 11:22, 1:22 and possibly on other occasions 2:11 (one day this week, caught 1:22 both am and pm...  Lately it seems like I will catch it a min later 1:23.

One day this week when I talked with my mom on the phone she reminded me to give grandma a hug for her. 1:22 am, I went down and gave grandma a hug and came back to find it 1:23 am. This morning I caught the 1:11 and I think I also caught 1:22 and 1:23.  I think with numbers it's any time we find a pattern we find it unusual.  Right now looking at 3:49 pm and will probably post this a minute or two later...  Nothing "special" there.
