Is anybody else out there in overload with June end-of-school activities? YIKES ... going crazy here ...

I've got one graduating high school (prom, awards assembly, and now graduation and graduation party), one starting to drive, one moving up to middle school and end of year activities too numerous to list and one more whose end of school activities are in the realm of normal for the end of the year!

OK .. only a few more days to go, right :)

Today is the big day  One more event will be checked off the calendar LOL.  It's been raining on/off for the past 2 weeks ... let's get some no-rain vibes going for late this afternoon or else the ceremony will be inside the auditorium with split tickets to view it "live" vs. in a classroom via remote TV.

And to show you what a brain fog I've been in ...... I thought graduation was tomorrow!

Overload...Confirmation, 8th grade graduation , a birthday party, one going to middle school..one going in kindergarten...Then starting summer camp school in a week in half...Not much of a break..

Oh, I forgot .. mark you calendar to ck. my mood tracker for the 25th .. I have to be at the high school at 5:30 AM to pick up my Senior who goes on an all-nighter trip right after the ceremony.  It's a safe-night with no worries for drinking, drugs, driving but have to be there at that 5:30 time for pickup.  This will be fun hee hee.

Since all mine have already been thru and done that, now I get to attend it all for the grandkids. I had 3 of em for the day, ages 6-4-2. We went to walmart where they wanted everything they saw, then we went to the beach and I had to buy them new life vests cause the others were rotten, then we went for ice-cream at a lovely little, sit outside and eat it place, and natually the ice cream was chocolate, so back to the ocean to get the ice cream off of em. Tomorrow 9 am its football, then at 11:30 trophy handouts for Baseball that is just finishing up.  Im tired and Im not even the MOM! Now we got a sleepover with sleeping bags and the whole bit and I just want to go to bed! I no not how you guys do it all on a daily basis. Whew! And I absolutely detest cartoons!

Ok .. then you go and buy the lottery tickets and keep them for yourself!  Yeah, that's what I'd do!

when we go as a family we bring a card with money, but my oldest two have been to friends partys and they just show up and hang out,,,I dont think his friends will bring him anything either,,,not really traditional for the kids around here,
Your idea is good , cause you have a daughter,,girls do things like that the boys dont and yes its way too expensive to think of bringing a gift to each party...last weekend they had 5 partys  I suggested a card with a lottery ticket in each and they thought it was a dumb idea so, I just let them decide.

Is your son bringing gifts to his friend's parties?   I think we've pretty much decided to do a food item and a cute little container of candy with a balloon and little stuffed animal with a cute bow.  It is wayyyy too much $ to even think of a gift for ea. friend ??

I am hosting my sons grad party tommrow,,your all invited LOL,,just bring your own beer !!..seriously its a ton of work...but I think its gonna be a great day,and yes we have been invited to several, some are days that we will have to attend 2 partys in one day, Its difficult to turn down an invite as we ant people to attend our childrens graduations, etc...
