When I was a junior the theme was "I Will Always Love You". When I was a senior, the theme was "Never Say Goodbye."

Oh, I just realized I said it wrong! My brother's song was "Stairway to Heaven" not "Highway to Heaven" Sorry!
Not to change the subject or anything but since we're on this topic of high school proms, would anyone know how I could get old copies of my old yearbooks? We had a flood in our crawl space several years ago and it ruined boxes of books that, of course, had my highschool yearbooks in them. I had to throw them away. They were all moldy. I was heartsick. Of course, I wouldn't have all my friends signatures, etc. anymore but I'd like to get a copy or two of my old yearbooks. Can you believe I used to be a cheerleader? LOL
Boy, jollyman! Now I want to listen to Styx again! I loved that group! :D
The theme to my senior prom(which I did NOT attend) was 'Oh what a night' by the 4 seasons I think. I thought it was such a dumb theme!
Funny story, My senior english teacher asked us to raise our hands to see who was going to prom...i was sort of anti- high school my senior year, and was engaged to my HS sweetheart(who had already graduated and is my dh now), so I did not want to go, and didn't raise my hand...so the next day, he came up to me(my teacher) and says: 'I noticed you didn't raise your hand when I asked if everyone was going to prom, may I ask why?" I said because I did not want to. So he proceeds to say:" well, there is another very nice student in one of my classes who would love to take you to prom, I am sure he would love the company''...I almost chocked on the water I was drinking...MY TEACHER TRIED TO SET ME UP ON A PROM DATE...how insulting! He thought I wasn't going because I did not have a date!!!! My blood was almost boiling, and I politely lifted my left hand, flashed my diamond engagement ring and said, ''I don't think my fiance would appreciate me going to prom with another fellow!!'' He said oh, and I told him I was saving our money for my wedding and not for a silly prom ( I was a very mature 18 year old!!). He blushed immediately, and I think he felt like an @$$ after that. I chuckle about it now...True story!!
Hm, I want to say I think it was "Best of Times" by Styx.
My brother's was "Highway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin, I'm pretty sure. Does that show his age? Lol. What a great slow dance song! It was what, 11 minutes long?! Wow, does this bring back memories!
