To be able to make the trip to be with my children and grandbabies, that is more than enough. I'm determined to make that trip, and I know I'll pay for it when I get home. Merry Christmas all.

I have a confession to make, I've already had my presents! I wanted a Sony Walkman I could download and play YouTube videos on and a terrabyte hard drive for my pc. Hubby wanted a new laptop and a broadband dongle for when he's away on his trips. Now we have an arrangement where we dont buy one another presents, we let each other buy what they want! And of course we need to use them straight away, no putting them under the tree and waiting till Christmas Day - Oh no!

Now I know a lot of you are going to be be horrified and disgusted with our lack of patience and Christmas spirit and of course your right - I'm hanging my head in shame as I write this. As for under the tree I'm getting hubby a potato ricer (Wow I can hear you say!) andI 'll be fascinated to see what I find :-)

Thanks, ChitChatNIne. I was hoping we could all share links of our favorite things like Oprah... but as I told my hubby, "I have everything I need really.... depite my health (although I'm healing and getting better)... I feel very blessed".

Of course my first Christmas wish is world peace, ending world hunger, addressing global warming & pollution. And of course.. a bright future and opportunities for everyone.

I can't do as much for my little guy as I would like to either. But his grandparents are rounding it out a little. He want's a skateboard from Santa this year.

Jollyman069: I hope you get a kidney soon. My aunt died of kidney failure. I would have loved to have given her my kidney but mine aren't that great either since I seem to stay with kidney infections. Hope you get everything you want!

All I want for christmas is my kids to get the things they want. I can't afford to get them much so they will wake up to only 4 presents a piece under the tree this year. I know that is more than most but still doesn't feel like much to me.

My mom gets me a box of chocolate covered cherries every year...those are my favorite. mmmmmm.

jolly--i will pray someone comes thru with a kidney for you.....u put things in perspective....like most people want all these materialistic things...and get all crazy around christmas and wanna out do this or that person....and here u want an organ that all of us have.


i must be getting old because i really dont want anything this year.  im so excited to have my son be able to have his first christmas....that's fun. he's only 7 mnths so he has no idea what is going on...and cant open presents..and has no idea who santa is.....but i dont care. it's still fun.

Now I feel really superficial for wanting all Donald Trump's money and assets - but not the hair.

In reality - I would really want all my adult children and their spouses and kids to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with me.  I miss them so much.

I dont have a link but what I would like is for the Economy to be better.

There will be lots of kids who wont recieve anything for Christmas my heart goes out to them and there famlies.
