vacation ideas?HELP!

so the hubby and are are wanting to take a vacation...our anniversary is in april as well as his birthday.... so thinking around that time... but dont have a clue where to go....i wanna go to vegas,puerto rico or somewhere!....lol....we dont have any passports yet (i know we are slackers)

sooooo ideas please!!!.....where is a good place to go in april?...not too expensive?....any ideas appriciated!

Ha Ha Butterfly has almost sold me on Las Vegas ..I havent been for years and I love the idea of firing a machine gun....

yea it sounds awesome....im REALLY trying for vegas... i been wanting to go there for forever!... and i found good deals.... 4 days and 3 nights, flight, and hotel at the el cortez casino for the both of us... and would cost me $608.....

soooo im really pushing for that !.....

If you've never been to Las Vegas... you gotta go. Hotel room rates there have really gone down in price (except during holidays) due to the struggling economy. And, there's so much too do and see... casinos of every theme and variety (even if you don't gamble, they're amazing); live stage shows for just about every taste imaginable; restaurants everywhere... many of them with bargain prices (depending on the time of day you go); there a all kinds of museums that showcase anything from fine art masterpieces, vintage cars and Hollywood and Rock n Roll memorabilia. And if you're into nature, Vegas is right there in the desert and there's an awesome place called The Red Rocks. The last time I was in Vegas, I went on a helicopter ride over the desert; and I went to a rifle range and fired a machine gun!

if we had passports we would be going somewhere international....but we dont so we are screwed!

his mother lost his birth certificate so we are in the process of getting him a new one... which isnt an easy task!.... =(

Well you arent too far from the Keys but maybe you have done that a ton of times...what about the Virgin Islands or is that too far , they may do deals in April if its out of season, New Orleans I think its been fixed up a lot since Katrina struck,yes there is las Vegas, /LA  ... course you could jet over to Paree France comes top place to live inspite of the French LOL
