We go to Florida at the end of April but this time we can not go at that time....We were thinking of going the week before Easter....Has anyone ever been there during this time...I went  years ago and it was very crowded....I was wondering if anybody has gone recently....Does anyone have any other good fun vacation places to go my children ages are from 14 to 5?....We are in NJ..We drive my daughter is in a wheel chair so I would rather drive....thanks

I live in Central FL - The week before Easter might not be too bad, unless you get into some spring breaks.  Our spring break begins March 30 and ends April 3, but there may be other areas having spring breaks at different times and a lot of people come here for the beaches.  

I don't think the amusement parks would be too bad at that time, though.  FYI - Haven't been to Disney, etc for a while, but if they do it like they used to, people in wheel chairs go straight to the front of the line for rides, so there's no waiting in lines. Might be a good idea to go the websites for the individual amusement parks and see how they handle it now.  

"Snowbirds" are beginning to head back north so that lightens the traffic, etc some.

I used to live in Port Saint Lucie and Jensen Beach, it is only an hour or so from Disney world , it didnt ever get packed, weather is good and not too hot now, its near the Beach ,depends what you want to do with the kids. The ocean is warm and the beaches are good, Actually the week before Easter is in mid April this year so it wont be too much differant , possibly others who are living there now will have more input,
