No, we dont have snails here except at the ocean. lol I never heard of them in gardens before. I am with you, I wouldnt eat them either lol I was just teasing Margy about it. lol
Slugs are nasty too and smell. Dogs always want to roll in them and dead worms for some reason.

You don't have snails? We've always had them here. I just considered them normal. They aren't as big as the ones in the oceans but they do have shells. We also have slugs. Personally, I wouldn't ever consider eating them. Anything that leaves a SLIME trail behind it when it moves is NOT food. lol

The French, including the Quebecois here, eat them with garlic butter and cheese.Nasty! Truely nasty! They do take the shells off first though. I would sooner eat grass. lol

Well I have NEVER seen snails on land before! Very interesting! I looked them up and leaned they were brought to California in 1850 by the French, (are you ready?)
for FOOD! Sooooo, dont fight them, eat them! (gag).
There is another option, its this nasty beetle that will eat the snails. The only problem, the beetle also easts your fruit and veggies. Looks like its bon appetite. (if you can get them down) lol

Ha ha you guys, coloring. I do too. Amazon has some great adult coloring books (like victorian houses and flowers, farm scenes etc...) I use color pencils though.

I love to colour! I also draw and paint but have not had time for these in years so every now and then just colouring is a great alternative. How cool we have that in common as well.

It was hot and sunny today.  Thank God. I really mean that. It was 26 Celcius so about 79  Fahrenheit. I feel great and I got out in the gbardens and planted new flowers. I even weeded...and for once loved doing it.lol

That is really strange. I see quite a few here but we can get a lot of rain, 2 weeks worth currently...sob.I guess they like the damp, dark places so they don't dry out.
