Emotional memory loss, is there such a condition?

Hello, the symptoms I am seeking to clarify might not be directly related to memory loss but they are of the same nature only for the emotional spectrum.
Forgetting justified negative emotions (not the memory of the negative interaction). As if one moment there is a normal emotional response and the next one the heart has amnesia and it needs a conscious mental action to maintain a healthy response to the negative incident. As opposed to normal negative emotions that linger until there is taken proper action, these negative feelings die out in a short period, long before a healthy normal action can be taken to remedy the situation. Something similar to emotional amnesia which is bringing much discomfort and incapacity to deal in a healthy, constructive way with the issues that need to be addressed.
