Any one else with this problem?

I'm 37 years old and have been having early symptoms of menopause for all most two years now.. ( weight gain, mood swings, night sweats, hot flashes and a few heart palpitations)but with regular periods- until last month.. when I skipped one entirely and now I'm half way threw another month and still no sign of it... Took a H.P.T just in case, ( NOT PREGNANT).. and I had my Fallopian Tubes surgically severed 15 and a half years ago.
My mother said I was to young and she didn't start menopause until her late 50"s. ( not sure about my fathers side as we do not speak.)
And I have heard that there are no tests for early menopause. Has any one else had this problem?

Hello I'm new to the community and I just saw your question.
I am 46 now and I have had menopausal symptoms when I was in my mid 20s, night sweats and hot flashes but I never told my doctor. Only now I have told him about it and he tells me that it might be a hormonal problem, because the hot flashes can last 1 to 1 and a half hours and he tells me that, that is not normal so I have an appointment with an endocrinologist to find out if I have a problem there.

My mom was 59 when she started. I am 46 and I have been having what I thought was anxiety attacks, etc for like 10 years now. Turns out they think now I have been premenopause... now my periods are almost gone..and have been for almost a year...which i think they call PERImenopause?  But I was in my mid 30s and woke up with my night shirt SOAKED! and my hair!
I was always told we did this at same age as our moms, not in my case!  And it sure sounds like your are pre- or peri  (not sure the difference) except peri seems to have scanty periods...and once you go 12 full months of none, you are considered post I think?
I have no idea about my fathers side either. :(
