Is it menopause? Or more serious.

Hi,
I am a 46 year old woman and I'm currently on birth control pills just to regulate my cycle. I went off on Thursday because it was my period week and starting Saturday I began to experience these odd "adrenaline-rush" feelings that really scared me. They would come every minute or every couple of minutes but would only last a few seconds. My blood pressure would surge up but no heart palpitations. My hands would also get really clammy and my feet too. Ive also been experiencing a painful headache for the past two days. What could this possibly be? It doesn't seem to be going away, and I hadn't even thought of menopause because I'm still getting periods and haven't experienced the typical hot flashes of menopause. Help please!

I'm pretty sure it's menopause related but it doesn't feel like a hot flash since I don't feel hot. It feels like my body is just really off and the adrenaline type rushes are kind of scary. The blood pressure being high is also really scaring me. I'm just not sure what's normal.

From experience I would say you're going thou premenopausal that before you hit menopause. premenopausal you will still get a regular period and experience hot flashes your hands do get clammy with hot flashes and feet. At the health store I take Estro Balance twice a day with a meal and it helps. And about the headache are you drinking enough water? you should be consuming about 3 to 4 glasses a day.To made sure your Gynecologist can run a hormone test to see if your going thou premenopausal. And other thing if I was you I would get off those Birth control pills all together it's a synthetic hormone therapy that raises estrogen and has been linked to Increased rick of breast cancer, increase rick of blood clotting and stroke, Increase your blood pressure, Mood changes and etc. I believe in good nutrition is the key to everything start by making some healthy smoothies and eat lots of veggies and fruit and lay off the sugar. If you would like me to give you some recipes on some great smoothies I be happy to help you..xx
