Menopause

I Started missing my periods  two years ago at 47 years. My head will start feeling  funny like a little  spin like electric  shock. A few seconds  after I will feel depressed, frighten, angry, tired etc all at once then a few seconds  after I will sweat profusely. The period came back after four months and I was normal then the next year the symptoms repeat now for the third time every timeout would be more intense several times a day in sleep waking up with palpitations and even awake. It's been almost seven months  since I've  had a period and the terrible feelings are lessening a bit about  two weeks  now. Over the years I've been  taking evening primrose, black  cohosh and other vitamins.Recently I have started  to exercise  more regular, cut down on eating pepper and eating  healthier. Is it possible that the period might come back and then I have to go through the symptoms  again when it stop?
