Mammagram Call Back Due to Perimenopaus?

I had a mammogram on Monday, I got a call back on Friday to come in for more tests on Wednesday due to changes in my right breast.  I am worried.
I am 45.  I have had some night sweats, my hair is more brittle, my periods are much lighter than they use to be.  I began to wonder, could perimenopause be something I am experiencing and could perimenopause cause changes in one breast?  Thank you.

I have been called back also and did not have cancer!  Try not to worry.  It's better safe than sorry so get checked but do not fret overly so as many women get the call back to recheck and all is just fine.

I have read that changes in hormones can cause an increase in breast density which can make mammos harder to read. Also, calcifications can appear on mammos. In my case, I had to re-do twice. Before the second re-do, I asked if I should stop taking my calcium supplement a number of days prior to the mammo and they said "yes." Lo and behold, the calcification disappeared. Hope all is ok!
