Pre menopause ????

I am 43, with extremely hevy bleeding along with clots the size of quarter larger! Is this normal?

I am also 43.  I was having awful periods as well as baseball size clots at age 33.  I went to my gyn, and we agreed to have an endometrial ablation done (google that).  If you are done having children, this may be good for you.  I still have a good sex drive, and I now only spot a very tiny amount for about 2 days once a month. I would say no not normal.

Have you ever had severe menstrual pain before?

Adenomyosis could be why or Endometriosis. However there could be many reasons why this is happening but I would need more information.
